Ashtanga Yoga Noordhoek is a space for healing, building community and a home for all who are interested in deepening their study of yoga in practice and spiritual philosophy.

At AYS Noordhoek, we are dedicated to sharing Ashtanga Yoga in the traditional way called “Mysore-Style”, which teaches & empowers you to develop a personal practice that is suitable to your body and level of experience. You will receive one-on-one instruction with gentle hands-on assistance, ensuring that you learn each posture correctly and safely. Over time, you will learn a set sequence by heart and will be able to practise it independently at your own pace, without needing constant instructions from the teacher. This silent way of practising allows your attention to turn inward and for the practice to become a deep, meditative experience.

Join our sessions to deepen your practice with expert guidance, fostering mindfulness and personal growth.

Every first Sunday of the month

Sunday Community guided class

Mysore-style classes are suitable for all levels, and you do not need any previous yoga experience to begin. Everyone works at their own pace and ability with the teacher. New students begin by learning the Ashtanga Primary Series and are taught each posture one at a time with individual instruction.
